Victor Lancaster - William Victor "Vic" Lancaster, age 94, of Columbus, MS, passed away August 20, 2025, at Vineyard Court Nursing Center. A private family graveside service will be held at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lancaster was born June 9, 1931, in Drew, MS, to the late Robert and Gladys Leggett Lancaster. He was a graduate of Lee High School of Columbus. Mr. Lancaster started his career with Firestone then worked for many years for Graham Tire and Lowndes Radial Tire. He was a member of the Columbus Host Lions Club and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and attended First Baptist Church of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, June Lancaster of Columbus, MS, and daughter, Vickie McCommon and her husband John of Columbus, MS.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
