TYLER ROBERTSON - Christopher Tyler Robertson, age 43, of Columbus, MS, passed away August 8, 2026, in Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at First Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Vaughn Stafford officiating. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at Colonnade. Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Tyler was born October 1, 1982, in Amory, MS, to Pamela Robertson Russell and the late Ronald Ray Robertson. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William Douglas Robertson, Sr., and uncles Michael Andrew Robertson and Timothy Lynn Robertson.

Tyler attended New Hope School, where he was a member of the New Hope High School baseball team and developed his lifelong love for the game. He later attended Heritage Academy, where he graduated in 2001. His years as a student and athlete were an important part of his early life and helped shape the love of baseball that he would later share with his own sons. Tyler’s greatest love was being a father and spending time with his children. He especially enjoyed every opportunity he had to coach them and watch them participate in sports. He was an avid Mississippi State fan, a member of the Columbus Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, and a talented woodworker who enjoyed creating things with his hands.

He is survived by his mother, Pamela Robertson Russell (Bill); his sons, Jackson Ray Robertson and Collins Tyler Robertson; his brother, Bradley Robertson; his sister, Carlee Robertson Williams (Dave); his nephews, Watson, Sam, and Charlie Williams; his paternal grandmother, Dot Mullenix; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Brad Robertson, Dave Williams, Brodie West, Jep Cole, Johnny Lambert, and Scott Shelton.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or GriefShare, First Methodist Church of Columbus.
