Tonia Lane Jones

Tonia Lane Jones, 52, of Columbus, MS, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital GT.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 19th, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Murrah's Chapel cemetery with Pastor Kevin Cuthbertson officiating.

Tonia was born on November 27, 1971 in Columbus, MS to the late Willard (Ott) Richardson and Violet Richardson. Tonia had a deep love for animals and those around her.  She was known for having a heart of gold and never meeting a stranger.

She is preceded in death by her father, Willard Ott Richardson and her mother, Violet Jenese Richardson. She is survived by her daughter, Chelsea Jones of Columbus and brother, Marty Richardson (Crystal) of Columbus.

Honorary pallbearers are the nurses, doctors, and staff of Baptist Memorial CCU Unit.
