TODD DAVIS
Everett “Todd” Davis, age 62, of Columbus, Mississippi, passed away Friday, April 24, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
Todd was born on December 23, 1963, in Columbus, Mississippi. He dedicated 30 years of service to Tronox, formerly known as Kerr-McGee Chemical, where he was known not only for his hard work, but for his humor and the joy he brought to those around him.
Todd is survived by his mother, Othelia Davis; his beloved wife, Lisa Davis; his children, Devin and April Downey, and Justin and Sarah Davis; his cherished grandchildren, Molly Kate Downey, Sally Downey, Davis Downey, and Knox Davis; and his siblings, Terri Roach and Jeff Davis. He was preceded in death by his father, William Davis, and his brother, William “Snapper” Davis.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Durst, Wayne Kelly, Brett Roebuck, Chris Smith, Danny Welch, Jeffrey House, Jimmy Johnson, John Wax, Justin Miller, Steven Truelove, Tim Duncan, Todd Patrick, Willie Davis, and Tim Jones.
Todd was a man of deep and unwavering faith. He loved Jesus wholeheartedly and lived out that faith daily—not through words alone, but through his actions. His kindness, humility, and quiet trust in God were evident in the way he treated others and navigated every season of life.
He loved his family fiercely, and they were the center of his world. He provided, protected, and showed up in every way that mattered, offering a steady presence that made those around him feel safe, valued, and deeply loved.
Todd had a servant’s heart. He was always willing to help, to give, and to show compassion without expecting anything in return. If someone was in need, he stepped in. If someone was hurting, he was there. His life reflected selflessness and genuine care for others.
Though his absence leaves an immeasurable void, his family finds comfort in the faith he lived by so faithfully. They take peace in knowing that he is whole, at rest, and in the presence of the Savior he loved so dearly.
The family is deeply grateful for the time they shared with him and the legacy of love and faith he leaves behind. He will be missed more than words can express.
Services will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., with visitation from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home.
