Martha Sue Studdard Kinard, age 89, died Saturday, April 26,2025, at her residence surrounded by loving family.
Services will be held Tuesday, April 29,2025, at 11 AM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Luke Lawson and Chaplain Adam Garner, officiating, burial will follow at Egger Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home .
Mrs. Kinard was born on April 20 1936, in Caledonia, Mississippi to William (Willie) Andrew Studdard and Susan Ella Johnston Studdard.
She was a lifelong member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She started her career working with Wiley Buntin Insurance Adjusters for a number of years. After that she spent several years with Weyerhouser Corporation until retirement.
A life-long servant to family and friends, she devoted her time to helping others. She enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with family. She was active in the women’s ministry teaching ladies Bible classes and singing in the church choir. Her kindness, laughter and unwavering faith will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph ( Joe) Kinard . Brothers were Vernon, Clyde, Joe, and Charles Studdard. Sisters were Verla Welch and Murla Richards.
Survivors include Wayne Studdard Sr. and a number of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind four step children.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Garner, Jason Windle, David Wayne Boykin, Jerry Studdard, Dusty Jourdan, Cameron Jourdan, Mike Davis, Wayne Studdard. Jr, and Tim Welch.
Mrs. Kinards family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice, Dr Ned Miller and caregivers Brenda Humphries, Sonya Young,and Jackie Jackson.
Memorials may be sent to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Samaritans Purse or First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
