Paul Sansing

Paul Walker Sansing, Sr., 86, of Caledonia, Mississippi passed away on October 18, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Paul was born June 29, 1938, in Caledonia, Mississippi to the late Bro. J. F. Sansing and Effie Thompson Sansing. He was a retired brick mason and served in the National Guard. He loved music and could play a number of instruments by ear. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved animals, especially his beloved dog, Lucy whom he called “his little girl”. 

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Myers Sansing, Caledonia, Mississippi, one son, Paul Sansing, Jr. (Judy), two daughters, Cheryl Yarbrough (Steve) and Angie Pennington (Marty), one sister, Mary Gordman, grandchildren, Forrest Doty (Delaney), Josh Sansing (Tori), Brooke Hall (Corey), and Macey Wyckoff (Ty), step-grandchildren, Amanda Newton (Artie), Brandon Yarbrough (Ashley), and Gavin Yarbrough (Tiffany), great-grandchildren, Sophie Doty, Kane Doty, Bryce Hall, Scottie Kate Wyckoff and Virgil Hawkins and step great-grandchildren, Chandler, Charley Kate, Logan, Adalyn, Georgia, Wylie, Alex, Aubrey, Braxton, Braylon, Cash and Jude. 

A small family graveside memorial will be held at a later date.
