Mylinda Ann Kenney, age 61, died peacefully December 23, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.
Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, December 27, 2025 with Pete Bowen officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 with the funeral at 11:00. Burial will follow at Egger Cemetery.
Mylinda was born on January 10, 1964 in Monroe County Mississippi to the late Barbara Ann Williams. She was a member of the Seventh Street Church of Christ and attended Steens Church of Christ. She knew Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Her life was centered around her only child, son, Justin Kenney. She loved going to the beach every summer with family. Mylinda will be remembered for her strength, determination, kindness, willingness to work hard, her love of and dedication to her family and to her and her son’s dog, Kimber. She took such great care of them both. She loved her job and coworkers at Tom Soya Grain and appreciated Mr. Perry Lucas.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Ann Williams and step father, Ruben A. Williams.
Survivors include: only child, Son-Justin Kenney of Columbus, MS; Brother - Michael Ferguson (Tracy) of Jasper, AL; niece, MacKenzie Ferguson, Columbus, MS, and several cousins, Faye Lancaster of Columbus, MS, Donna Bennett (Allen) of Aberdeen, Edna McGill (Rick) of Columbus, Buddy Crossley (Denna) Vernon, AL , Vickie Brown (Alex) of Birmingham, Sandy Perkins (Terry) of Vernon, Melissa Suddith (Jon), David Westbrook, and Mike Westbrook. She was fortunate to be blessed with a bonus family that she loved dearly - Pete and Edna Bowen, Kim, Hunter and Dalton.
Pallbearers will be Rick McGill, Buddy Crossley, Hunter Parker, Dalton Parker, and Raymond Cyr.
