Michael Butler

MICHAEL BUTLER - Michael Dale Butler, age 69, of Columbus, MS, passed away August 4, 2026, at his residence.  Visitation will be Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory.

     Mr. Butler was born July 7, 1957, in Rantoul, IL, to the late Frank and JoAnn Butler.  He was a graduate of Anniston High School and served in the United States Navy.  Mr. Butler worked at the Commercial Dispatch for 25 years and was a member of the East Columbus Church of Christ.  He loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar, hunting, fishing, telling jokes, and loved his grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Butler.

     Survivors include his son, Randy Butler and his wife Penny of Columbus, MS, daughter, Marie Adair and her husband Dylan of Columbus, MS, sister, Pam Butler of Mulberry, TN, grandchildren, Aaren Butler, Emma Butler, Katelyn Butler, Isaac Adair, and great grandchild, Grayson Butler.
