Mary Forrester

Mary Louise Forrester, age 93, of Columbus, MS, passed away July 27, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore, AL.  Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Forrester was born October 20, 1930, in Monroe, LA, to the late John and Gladys Chappell Jaye of Atmore, AL.  She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church where she served faithfully for years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alton J. Forrester, and siblings, Joan Coxwell, Jeanette Baggett, and Linda Kea.
Survivors include her sister, Elizabeth Smith Etheridge of Caledonia, MS, brother, Johnny Jaye of Pensacola, FL, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
