Martha Lee Toupous

MARTHA TOUPOUS – Martha Lee Garner Toupous, age 85, of Caledonia, MS, passed away January 3, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at 10:00 AM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel 903 College St. location with Pastor Steve Lampkin officiating.  The interment will immediately follow at Friendship Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday, January 6, 2020, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory 903 College St. location.

Mrs. Toupous was born October 1, 1934, in Monroe County, MS, to the late Vardaman and Odie Rhee Nunn Garner.  She retired as a real estate agent and enjoyed bowling and gardening.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Toupous was preceded in death by her husband, Janne N. Toupous, daughter, Renee Daniel, brother, David Garner, and sister, Beth Criddle.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Lampkin and her husband Eric of Caledonia, MS, sons, Aaron L. Harcrow, Jr. of Smyrna, GA, and Steve C. Wright of Newton, MS, sister, Jean Malone of Lackey, MS, grandchildren, Angela Blalock, Callie Griffin, and Jessica Daniel, and 5 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Rivers Griffin, Eric Lampkin, and Cameron Ludy.
