An important part of her life was her church, where she was actively involved in the choir, taught Sunday School, and was a dedicated member of her Tuesday morning Bible study group, rarely missing a gathering. Her faith was evident in both her words and her actions, and she lived her life as a true example of Christ’s love.

She had a servant’s heart and a gentle spirit, always putting others before herself.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Brooks “Jack” Fields; her sisters Lois McMullen, Opal McBrayer, Sallie Henderson, Carolyn Rester, and Cherry Dailey Stribling; and her brothers Bo Shepherd, Brooks Shepherd, and John Shepherd.

Her life was marked by kindness, faithfulness, and quiet strength, and her legacy will continue for generations to come. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior, reunited with those who have gone before her.
