Linda Thrash

Linda Faye Keating Thrash, age 77, of Columbus, MS, passed away June 13, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Monday, June 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will immediately follow at Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, June 15, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory.

Mrs. Thrash was born February 18, 1948, in Millport, AL, to the late Charles and Dorothy Hughes Keating. She was a graduate of Millport High School. Mrs. Thrash worked for Johnston Tombigbee Furniture, Airline Manufacturing, Jumbos and Mr. Jim's Barbeque, and Dutch Village. She was a member of the Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church of Millport, AL, and was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jerry Lee Thrash, brother, Doug Keating, sisters, Martha Johnson and Elaine Fultz, and granddaughter-in-law, Nikki Reeves, and pet dog "Curly."

Survivors include her son, Terry "T. T." Thrash of Columbus, MS, daughter, Theresa Palmer of Amory, MS, brothers, Larry Keating of Columbus, MS, Mike Keating and his wife Claudia of Columbus, MS, and James Keating and his wife Gwendolyn of Vernon, AL, sisters, Bama Thrash and her husband W. J. of Columbus, MS, Gail Hixon of Jacksonville, AL, and Trannie Cochran of Jacksonville, AL, grandchildren, J. T. Reeves (Kayla), Brandi Pearson, and Zachary Palmer (Shelby), great grandchildren, Jaxson Reeves, Sylas Reeves, Maddie Pearson, Kailen Hunt, and Riley Hunt, and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her big fat cat "Tom", and pet dog "Little Bit."

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
