JOHN MARK RUSSELL - John Mark Russell, age 37, of Oxford, MS, formerly of Columbus, MS, passed away August 19, 2026, at the North Mississippi Regional Center in Oxford, MS. Funeral services will be Monday, August 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Langerfeld and Rev. Aaron Suber officiating. A private family interment will immediately follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory.

John Mark was born January 7, 1989, in Columbus, MS, to Dr. John and Patricia Russell, III, of Columbus, MS. He had a loving spirit and was a child of God. He was a resident of the North Mississippi Regional Center in Oxford, MS, for many years.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his siblings, William Russell and his wife Sarah of Alexandria, VA, Hannah Russell Moore and her husband Ross of Tuscon, AZ, and Stephen Russell of Memphis, TN, three nieces and one nephew.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of The Session of Main Street Presbyterian Church.
