DOUG MOULDS

Dan Douglas Moulds, Sr "Doug", 1935-2026, passed away at the age of 90 peacefully at home on February 12, 2026. Services will be held Monday February 16, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Sanderson and Bro. Kevin Cuthbertson officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Doug was born in Seminary, MS on December 25, 1935 to the late Dan and Carrie Moulds.

He enjoyed working in the yard. He was an avid Ole Miss Rebels fan and followed them until his passing.

Doug's passion for radio began in 1955. In 1963, Doug became a well respected voice of the Stephen D Lee High School football games on Friday nights on WCBI radio. He also became the first broadcaster to air Mississippi University for Women basketball games on the radio. He also broadcasted the University of Mississippi football and basketball, University of Arkansas at Little Rock basketball, Memphis State University football and basketball, Arkansas State University football and basketball, and East Mississippi Community College football and basketball. Prior to retiring, he owned 2 radio stations in Arkansas and 1 in Mississippi.

Doug is survived by his wife of 69 years Barbara Ann, his son Dan Moulds Jr.(Cheryl), his daughter Mindy Klock (James), and his daughter Peti Madigan. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Wanda Klug (Dick) and several nieces and nephews.

He shared his love of the Lord with his family and was a member of First Baptist Church in Columbus, MS.
