Bill Carr

BILL CARR - William Clarence "Bill" Carr, age 84, of Millport, AL, passed away September 6, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.  Graveside services will be Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Egger Cemetery.  Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

     Mr. Carr was born February 15, 1942, in Columbus, MS, to Ray Buford and Juanita Honnoll Carr.  He was a veteran serving in United States Army and was a Mason.  Mr. Carr worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Carr, son, Kenneth Ray Carr, daughter, Sherry Lynn Carr, and sister, Olivia Ray.

     Survivors include his son, William "Whit" Carr of Gulf Shores, AL, daughter, Mary Elizabeth Vines of Millport, AL, grandchildren, Chad Cowart, Devin Carr, William Carr, Mackenzie Orr, Meaghan Vines, and Hunter Carr, and 5 great grandchildren.
