Barbara Ann Martin

Barbara Ann Martin passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Starkville, Mississippi, to the late Estel Daniel Coleman and Leola Hemphill Coleman.

Barbara was a retired registered nurse who dedicated her life to caring for others with compassion and grace. Her greatest joy came from her family, especially her grandchildren. She cherished time spent with them and found her deepest happiness in being their grandmother.

She was deeply connected to her Columbus, Mississippi community as a member of the Silver Bells Sunday School class, the Lowndes County Master Gardeners, and the Galaxy Garden Club.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Carrie Martin, and their two children, Coleman and Lucy Ann.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Danny Coleman and Sammy Coleman.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Morgan Chapel Cemetery in Sturgis, Mississippi.
