RICHARD L. FORKUM Richard L. Forkum age 77 died Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus. Services will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brian Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at Vaughn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, Monday, October 29, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Mr. Forkum was born on Monday, April 01, 1935 in Paragould, AR to the late Henry and Evie Walker Forkum. He was a member of the Magnolia Church of Christ and was retired from the city of Jonesboro, Arkansas after 40 years of service. Survivors include his wife: Janelle S. Forkum, Columbus MS; one daughter Rhonda Slatton (Dallas), Columbus, MS; two grandchildren Sierra Slatton (Dallas) and Cheyenne Frayser (Michael);4 Brothers, and 1 sister. The Pallbearers will be Wade Ward, Sandy Pinkerton, Mark Frady, Tom Gentry, Joe Mims, and Charles Wyatt. The Honorary Pallbearer will be Hilden McCollough.
