Mikayla Ruth South, age 1, of Columbus, MS, passed away September 30, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 3, 2013, at 6:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday, October 3, 2013, one hour prior to the service at Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside committal service will be Friday, October 4, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL. Mikayla was born August 17, 2012, in Columbus, MS. Survivors include her parents, Richard and Barbara South of Columbus, MS, brothers, Joeseph and Michael South, sisters, Rebekah, Kristen, Rachael, and Brigita South, all of Columbus, MS, maternal grandmother, Ileana Araujo of Milford, PA, and paternal grandparents, Richard and Marjorie South of Reno, NV. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
