ANNA DOTY (Columbus, MS) Anna Laura Doty age 89 died Monday, March 25, 2013 at Care Center of Aberdeen. Graveside services will be held Friday, March 29, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. David Westmoreland officiating. Mrs. Doty was born on Thursday, March 13, 1924 in Harrisburg, AR to the late Alonzo and Grace Anise McCully Turner. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church and a retired seamstress at Seminole Manufacturing Company. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Talbott F. Doty. Survivors include: Three Daughters: Dede Gibson, Lake Village, AR Debbie Daugherty (Scott), Cary, NC Darlene Doty, Ethelsville, AL Two Sons: Buff Doty (Kathy), Columbus, MS Jeff Doty (Susan), Aberdeen, MS Grandchildren: Robert, Clay, Brett, Megan, Kelly, Chase, Jann, Daniel, Forrest, and Jake 8 Great Grandchildren In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: UAB Callahan Eye Hospital 1720 University Blvd, Suite 500 Birmingham, AL 35255
