Katherine L. Freeman, age 43, of Columbus, MS, passed away October 13, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. A private family memorial service will be held at a later time. Katherine was born June 17, 1969, in Chicopee, MA, to her mother, Mary E. Ford of Columbus, MS, and the late Fredric P. Freeman. She was a graduate of Caldwell High School and attended MSCW and EMCC. Survivors include her mother, Mary E. Ford of Columbus, MS, and brother, Jeffrey Stewart Freeman of Northport, AL. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
