Eva Mae Williams, age 84, of Columbus, MS, passed away November 12, 2014, at her residence. Funeral services will be Friday, November 14, 2014, at 1:00 PM at Gunter & Peel Chapel with Pastor Jon Holland officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Liberty Cemetery near Nettleton, MS. Visitation will be Friday, November 14, 2014, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home. Mrs. Williams was born August 23, 1930, in Amory, MS, to the late Wilford F. and Susan Elizabeth Head Berryhill. She was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Williams, son, Kenny Williams, and daughter, Margaret Ann Williams. Survivors include her daughters, Toni James of Columbus, MS, Peggy Lincourt of Pensacola, FL, and Lisa Marie Sweetman of Pensacola, FL, and 8 grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 801 18th St. NW, Washington, DC 20006.
