Frances Maurine Miley Martin, age 95, of Columbus, MS, passed away October 13, 2015, at her residence. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 15, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home with Dr. Albert Wilkerson officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Martin was born April 18, 1920, in Waco, TX, to the late John and Matty Mae Jones Miley. She retired from Columbus Air Force Base having worked in civil service for many years. Mrs. Martin was a member of East End Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Blake Martin. Survivors include her son, Herbert Martin of Columbus, MS, sister-in-law, Dot Cook of Waco, TX, brother-in-law, Gene Martin of CA, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Travis Berry, Curtis Pritchett, Todd Mordecai, Richard Holifield, Ernie Smith and Jerry Kendall. Memorials may be made to East End Baptist Church, P.O.
