Linda Jo Shriver

Linda Jo Fortner Shriver, age 67, of Columbus died Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Melvin Mordecai officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Shriver will be buried later in the week next to her husband in Reamer Hill Cemetery in Clendenin, W. VA.

The daughter of the late Edward and Beulah Harrell Fortner, Mrs. Shriver was born September 2, 1948 in Columbus. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Robert L. Shriver, who died May 13, 2015. She was a member and very active in her church Union Chapel Baptist Church in Ethelsville, AL.
