Mrs. Upton was born in April 21, 1924 in Barlow, MS to the late Nelson and Susie Myrtle Reynolds. She was a member of Rehobeth Methodist Church and was a secretary for the Forrestry Commission. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rudolph Ira Upton; brother, Robert Russell Reynolds and sister, Peggy Ann Hennington.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Sue Prouty of Columbus, MS; brother, Nelson Dale Reynolds of Boise, ID; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
