DON WINSTEAD

Donald Leslie "Don" Winstead age 81, died Thursday, May 31, 2018 at his residence in Columbus. Services will be held Sunday, June 03, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Artesia Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Morgan officiating, burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Park in Oktibbeha County. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 03, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM the church.

Mr. Winstead was born on November 22, 1936 in Yazoo City, MS  to the late L.L. and Grace Sharp Winstead. He was a member of Artesia Baptist Church and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Mr. Winstead was a retired regional sales manager for Miller Transportation after 38 years of service. He was a Shriner and a member of the Shriner Motor Patrol.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Jimmie Sue Denton Winstead and his daughter, Cindy Winstead.
