Elizabeth Ann Grant

Elizabeth Ann Ott Grant, age 72, of Columbus, MS, passed away September 29, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.  A private family graveside service will be Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gardens of Columbus with Pastor Joseph Nettles officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday, October 2, 2018, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory, College St. location.

Mrs. Grant was born February 26, 1946, in Starkville, MS, to the late James Leroy and Earlene Coleman Ott.  She was a graduate of Starkville High School and Mississippi University for Women.  Mrs. Grant was a black belt in taekwondo and had a passion for interior design and collecting art and antiques.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Bourg.

Survivors include her husband, Willis Grant, Jr. of Columbus, MS, sons, James Grant and his wife Cindy of Columbus, MS, and Alan Grant and his wife Alicia of Columbus, MS, and brothers, James “Carroll” Ott and his wife Tina of Starkville, MS, and Joseph Leroy Ott and his wife Beth of Starkville, MS.
